Hey rayray,

I'm going to guess that you are a "hard gainer". Trying to bulk up right? I"m not a trainer and I don't have all kinds of nutritional knowledge. However I am a hard gainer myself. About a year ago I weighed in at 127lbs and I am 5'9" tall, 32 years old. I've been skinny my whole life.  This was not from a lack of trying either

After some research I tried a new plan for myself. I started focusing on my protein intake 1.5g for every lb I weighed.  My trick at the gym is to lift heavy. Heavy as about 85-90% of your max. 5 sets of 5 on each exercise. I only did "compound lifts" such as deadlifts, dumbell bench press, rows etc. I limited myself to 3 exercises for a day. I did this for only 1 hr, 3 times a week. My results?  It has been almost a year now and I am 171lb, and I feel great! The only downside was having to buy new clothes lol.
