Caring for Kids, Parents & Pets

When you’re responsible for someone else’s wellbeing — your child, your parents or even your “best friend” — it’s not always easy to decide what to do or whether you’re making the right decisions. We created this forum to help you get answers from experts and advice and support from fellow caregivers.

Here’s where you’ll learn from the similar challenges and experiences faced by others, and also have the opportunity to share your successful strategies for improving the health and happiness of those you love.

Hi Slyflorich:

I saw your post about your kitty having a seizure.  I am not a vet; however, if he were my kitty I would take him to the vet to see what is going on.  I feel that a seizure is pretty serious and he needs some kind of medical care.

I totally agree. Also, it is not a bad idea as well to get a second opinion as well. I know I have done that many times with my dogs when they have had medical issues. At least that way I know that I have done "my homework" to make any decisions.
