Personally, I cook with lots of olive oil and snack on nuts during the day, usually about 1/4 cup per day.  I also add flax seed meal to my morning protein shake.  And sometimes I add peanut butter to my morning protein shake.  I also take a fish oil pill daily.

Olive oil and mixed nuts are two things that are central to my diet as well. Before I walk my dogs actually I will always grab a handful of either walnuts or almonds (unsalted of course) as well as a few pieces of dried fruit.

I also am a big fan of avocados which are great not only to add to salads but also sliced and added to sandwiches too. Delicious and good for you!
